Lake of the Dwarfs

Located in the semi-mountainous area between Empona and Salakos, outside the inhabited area, the Lake of the Dwarfs is an isolated natural jewel worth visiting. A small lake in a particularly beautiful landscape, it is still home to individuals of the endemic and endangered “gizani” found in the fresh waters of Rhodes, such as the Kinsterna of Eleousa.
